About Patti

Having initially embarked on training to be a Physiotherapist, I realised I had a great passion to help people improve their health and well-being.

I am a caring, enthusiastic therapist & teacher and have been in full time practiced since December 1999. I offer a confidential and supportive service to every individual regardless of background or age.

Over the years I purposely have invested time and energy in ensuring that I am qualified to provide a broad range of professional complementary therapies as I truly believe that this philosophy enables me to determine and provide the right treatment for the individual. My goal is to offer a bespoke service that is tailored and based on your needs, taking into account your specific preferences, by using the most appropriate and effective treatment for you.

As a therapist I see every day, individuals who are stressed or have a low esteem and are struggling with anxiety.

I have been very fortunate to have gained invaluable experience working with a wide age range of people from 4 year olds to those their nineties in private practice, in community health projects, teaching Pilates to women in a open prison, in specialised nursing homes, visiting individuals at home who are unable to access my treatment room and in the business world offering support to individual employees.

I also have experienced of working in a busy London hospital, firstly offering Acupuncture in a pain management clinic and then moving onto a antenatal ward offering Acupuncture treatment to pregnant ladies for morning sickness, back and pelvic pain or tiredness.

I have extensive experience of treating individuals with long standing health problems such chronic pain, anxiety, stress, self esteem issues, low mood, fertility (whether trying to conceive naturally or through IVF), pregnancy, menopausal symptoms, headaches, migraines, osteoarthritis, digestive & bowel problems. .

I have worked in both television and radio in connection with my therapy and teaching work.

As a professional well-being therapist and teacher, I regularly attend conferences and seminars to keep up to date with the latest medical research and as a means of extending my skills and knowledge.

Having been a working mother myself with 2 daughters, I am fully aware of the many demands that life can make on us. I first became aware of Acupuncture when I was experiencing monthly hormonal & stress related headaches whilst working as a Director of a charity. After a few treatments my headaches cleared and I was so impressed that I took my then 9 year old daughter for Acupuncture to help with her Asthma. Natasha went for 4 treatments (one a week) and has never experienced Asthma symptoms since and she is now 27 years old.

Both of these personal experiences of Acupuncture had such a profound effect on me that I resigned from my full time job and enrolled onto the four year MSc course in TCM Acupuncture, at the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture in York. Then in 2011, I completed further study in Acupuncture and the Chinese medical classic texts at Middlesex University.

With the benefit of many years practicing as a Acupuncturist and seeing a high level of people with stress and anxiety related problems, I felt there was a need to broaden my professional skills and, therefore, embarked on training to be a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and Integrative Counsellor. Both of these therapies have proven to make a real difference in improving individuals emotional health and sense of well-being.

In my spare time I love playing tennis and in the colder weather badminton, walking Harley my amazing fun loving cockapoo and going to see my daughters, one of whom lives in Sydney. Once a year I go to a beautiful Yoga retreat in south east asia which is a beautiful and a amazing opportunity to recharge.

I am fully qualified in multiple complementary health therapies including...

  • Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy (2000)
  • Diploma in Facial Rejuvenation (using Acupuncture) (2010)
